Vienna is One of the Best Places to Live
This
is my third day in Vienna and the best word to describe this city is amazing . A city of great culture, music and beauty, it is a wonderful place to explore. A combination of beautiful buildings dating back to the 13th century along with many parks and cobblestone streets to entice the explorer in you, it is a great city to wander about on foot.
Home to so many famous composers, including Mozart, there is music playing everywhere. I attended Mass at the Hofburg Chapel, which was celebrated in Latin and German with music by the Vienna Boys Choir. The photo was taken from the oratorio high above the nave. The Chapel is part of the Imperial Hofburg Palace Complex, an
incredible complex of the former Royal residences and museums.
My next stop was the Spanish Riding School, which is also located in the same Palace complex. The Lipizzaners and their riders are bound together for years in a rigorous training ritual, the result of which is a sight to behold.
A trip to Vienna is not complete without a visit to the Staatsoper Opera house. I enjoyed a very well-choreographed performance of the ballet Manon, complete with an unforgettable evening of classical music.
I am busy studying for my CIPS designation and networking with Real Estate agents from Austria, Germany, Canada and several from the U.S. In my next post, I will talk about the Real estate market in Vienna, so stay tuned!
