Looking for a home in any city probably starts with an Internet Search. Over 80% of all home buyers, either relocating, or making a local move, start with a search on the Internet, before they contact a Real Estate agent.

Today, I will talk about what $500,000 will buy in various neighborhoods, in the Tampa Bay area, along with the pros/cons of living in that neighborhood.an insiders view of the best place to spend your Real Estate dollars, tailored to your lifestyle.

There are currently 336 Four-Bedroom, pool homes listed in the Tampa area, priced from $475,000 to $525,000.

Fh_5FISHHAWK RANCH

This Popular community east of Tampa, has an elementary school on site. It is a 45 minute drive to downtown Tampa in rush-hour traffic, so it is ideal for someone who works from home, or is used to a long commute. MacDill Air Force Base is a one hour commute, but there is a shuttle service.

The Brandon/Valrico/Riverview area is very family-oriented with many highly rated schools and plenty of sports-related activities for all ages. This 4 bedroom+bonus room, pool/spa home, on a lake, is currently on the market for $499,900. The five year old home has 3000 square feet of living space.

FishHawk Ranch is in the FishHawk Creek Elementary, Randall Middle and Newsome High School district.
